All You Need is a Scroll Saw - We're Not Kidding!:
You'll need only a scroll saw to build this totally fun play set! How is it possible to build the
Fantastika Fire Engine play set without a drill? For example, the fire ladder is cut as a left piece and right piece and then glued together. If you're comfortable starting interior scroll saw cuts using a drill, then go right ahead! The patterns can easily be used this way if you prefer. You decide which method is best for you. You don't even need a drill unless you want to make your own wheels. The wheels can be made with a drill and a hole saw - we show you how in the plans.
About the Printed Plan Set:
You'll receive an 8-1/2" x 11" pattern set that's spiral bound, printed on museum art paper. The
Fantastika Fire Engine plan set is 26 full-color pages plus black and white patterns with exploded views, assembly photos and step-by-step detailed instructions. Wheels are made with a holesaw - we show you how! With common tools, standard lumber (pine works great), and simple cuts, you can build this super working crane quickly and easily.
